TMC Tip for the day:the longest a company can sign you for service (artist or songwriter) is 8 years. Take note...

TMC TIP FOR THE DAY: How folks treat you when you ask questions can tell you boatloads about who you are getting into business with.

TMC TIP: Ask for a clause that says what a company is going to deliver-if they dont, you can get your rights back.

When it comes to new deals, work with companies that will let you test the waters-sign one or two tracks-not your whole catalog!

TMC TALENT TIP FOR THE DAY: When artists don't understand what they are getting into,they also don't know what to really expect and that causes a problem...do your research!

TMC TIP FOR TALENT: The more real knowledge an artist has about the biz the better they are to work with...do your research!
