Eminem Too Expensive for 'Glee'

Hit musical comedy 'Glee' may be one of the most successful shows on television, but they're not big enough for Eminem.  The Fox series, which has built itself into a $500 million dollar brand, has featured performances of popular songs like Rihanna's 'Take a Bow,' Cee-Lo's ubiquitious 'F--- You' and several Billy Joel standards, but Slim Shady's music was reportedly too expensive for the show.  In a candid interview,'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy explained that they had planned to perform Em's '8 Mile' anthem 'Lose Yourself'on the show, but were unable to afford the license, which would have cost them a whopping $200,000.

Will.i.am Hired as Creative Director for Intel

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am has landed himself a new gig at Intel, of all places. The company announced that the Grammy winner, who has long used new media to mobilize politics, social issues and music via his website Dipdive, has signed on to assist as director of creative innovations for Intel.
